New Weather Forecast Predicts Cold and Dry Conditions Across Most of the Country

Islamabad, The National Weather Forecasting Centre in Islamabad today issued a weather forecast for the upcoming days, predicting predominantly cold and dry conditions across most parts of the country. National Weather Forecasting Centre, continental air is currently prevailing over the majority of the country, with a shallow westerly wave expected to enter this evening or tonight.

According to National Weather Forecasting Centre – Islamabad, while upper districts may experience partly cloudy conditions during the evening and night. Additionally, smog and fog are expected in the plain areas of Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and upper Sindh during the night.

Friday’s weather is expected to follow a similar pattern, with mostly cold and dry conditions throughout the country and partial cloudiness in the upper districts during the evening and night. Smog and fog are likely to be present in the mornings and nights in the plains of Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and upper Sindh.

Reflecting on the past 24 hours, the weather has been cold and dry in most parts of the country. Today’s recorded lowest minimum temperatures show Leh at -10°C, Skardu at -8°C, and Gilgit, Astore at -5°C. Other regions like Gupis, Pulwama recorded -4°C, and Kalam, Srinagar, Anantnag, Shopiyan, and Baramulla experienced temperatures as low as -3°C.
