Nazriati Group Dissolves, Pledges Support to PML-N Leadership


Buner: Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs and President of PML-N Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Engr Amir Muqam, convened a meeting with leaders of the Nazriati Group on Wednesday. The meeting, held at the residence of Ishtiaq Chattan, culminated in the Nazriati Group leaders’ decision to dissolve their faction and pledge allegiance to the leadership of PML-N figures, including Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, Engr Amir Muqam, and Murtaza Javed Abbasi. The group expressed their commitment to collaborating for the party’s fortification.



According to Press Information Department, the leaders of the Nazriati Group, including Abdul Subhan Khan, Malik Imran, Peshawar group president Arbab Ghulam Haider Khan, and Abbottabad group leader Sardar Abdur Rashid, articulated their support during the event. Provincial President Engr Amir Muqam welcomed the dissolution of the group, describing the decision as “better late than never.” He confirmed his intention to work under the leadership of Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif.



The gathering was attended by prominent PML-N figures, including President PML-N Mardan Inayat Shah Bacha, Swabi President Shiraz Khan, Buner President Salar Khan, Shangla President Intikhab Alam, and others such as Babar Salim, Nawabzada Khan, Adil Khan, Ajar Akram Bacha, Shah Bakht Rawan, Amanullah Khan, Liaqat Khan, Ishtiaq Khan, and Javed Ghazali.
