Islamabad: Interior Minister Mohsin Raza Naqvi met with Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif to discuss national security and current developments in the country. The meeting took place on Wednesday, as disclosed by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.
During the meeting, Naqvi extended Eid-ul-Fitr greetings to the Prime Minister and provided updates on security measures implemented during the holiday period. The Prime Minister expressed satisfaction with the law and order situation, particularly over the Eid days.
Additionally, Naqvi briefed the Prime Minister on the progress of the repatriation process of Afghan nationals. The discussion also covered other matters related to the responsibilities of the interior ministry.
