Islamabad, 12 Oct 2023:Raja Parvez Ashraf, the Speaker of the National Assembly and Former Prime Minister of Pakistan, accentuated the paramount importance of parliamentary supremacy as a cornerstone for socio-economic development within the country. He commended the recent decision of the full court of the supreme court to uphold the Practice and Procedure Law, considering it a reflection of institutional maturity and a move that fosters the maintenance of respect and dignity for the Parliament, according to a press release from the National Assembly of Pakistan.
