Islamabad: The Ministry of Religious Affairs has announced November 20 as the final date for the selection and payment of Hajj packages under the private Hajj scheme, as stated by Ministry Spokesperson Muhammad Umar Butt. The announcement comes as part of the ministry’s efforts to streamline the Hajj planning process amid various package options and logistical arrangements.

According to Radio Pakistan, sixteen basic Hajj packages have been finalized, with prices ranging from 1.4 million to 3.75 million rupees. The private scheme provides several options for pilgrims, including short-duration packages, direct flights from abroad, and five-star accommodations. Muhammad Umar Butt emphasized that most Hajj organizer companies have uploaded their packages on the designated digital portal.

The spokesperson urged prospective pilgrims to make their selections and payments exclusively through the official Hajj Portal or the Pak Hajj App, cautioning against direct transactions with individuals or companies to avoid potential financial loss. He reiterated that the ministry is not liable for any losses incurred outside the authorized channels. This year, the ministry has allocated 71,684 seats for the private Hajj scheme, with provisions to reallocate any unfilled quota by the deadline.
