Islamabad: The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has unveiled a new national song, “Tu Hi Hai Ik Bandiya,” to honor the contributions of Pakistani expatriates. The release took place on the final day of the inaugural Overseas Pakistanis Convention.
The song underscores the significant role of the Pakistani diaspora in enhancing the country’s global reputation through diligent efforts and skills. It also incorporates themes of national pride, showcasing the professionalism of the Pakistan Armed Forces and recent positive economic indicators.
These indicators include a downturn in inflation, an increase in foreign investment and tax revenues, and reductions in interest rates and electricity prices. The song aims to reflect the progress made by the nation and its citizens abroad.
