Islamabad: Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Tariq Fazal Chaudhry and Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry have issued strong condemnations of statements made by Noreen Niazi, sister of the PTI founder, concerning Pakistan’s triumph in the Marka-e-Haq conflict. According to Radio Pakistan, the ministers regarded her remarks as irresponsible and contrary to national interests.

In a video statement, Tariq Fazal Chaudhry highlighted Pakistan’s success in Operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos, which has been acknowledged globally by military experts, international media, and world leaders. He emphasized that Pakistan openly provided the tail numbers of the Indian aircraft it downed, a fact that India has not been able to refute. He noted that Pakistan’s military and cyber operations during the conflict showcased the nation’s capabilities.

Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry described Noreen Niazi’s comments as shameful and an affront to Pakistan’s sovereignty and dignity. He praised the armed forces for symbolizing the nation’s security and honor, and stated that the entire nation condemns her remarks. He also noted that PTI’s founder and his family have repeatedly made statements against state institutions, particularly targeting the armed forces. Legal action has been initiated against Noreen Niazi, with an initial legal notice already served.

Minister of State for Finance Bilal Azhar Kayani also criticized Noreen Niazi’s statements, labeling them as highly regrettable. He expressed concern that some individuals struggle to accept Pakistan’s victory in Marka-e-Haq and accused the PTI and its founder of prioritizing political interests over national security, diplomacy, and economic stability.
