Minister Reaffirms Pakistan’s Commitment to Enhancing Foreign Investment


CHINIOT: The Minister for the Board of Investment, Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh, has reiterated the government’s dedication to fostering foreign investment in Pakistan, emphasizing the administration’s intent to fully cooperate with investors. Speaking to the media in Chiniot, Sheikh highlighted the government’s determination to alleviate public burdens while facilitating business ventures in the country.



According to Radio Pakistan, Sheikh outlined the Board of Investment’s ongoing efforts to implement regulatory reforms aimed at easing the investment process and streamlining business procedures. He also underscored the government’s initiatives to support education, technical skill development, and the adoption of modern technology among students.



In his address, Sheikh called on the business community to advocate for direct taxation, arguing that the current system of indirect taxes disproportionately affects the general populace.
