Islamabad: Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb emphasized the government’s commitment to ensuring an uninterrupted supply of petroleum products nationwide. This assurance comes amidst heightened volatility in global energy markets.
According to Radio Pakistan, Aurangzeb chaired a meeting of the Committee to Monitor Petrol Prices in the Wake of the Emerging Situation in the Region. During the meeting, he highlighted that Pakistan’s supply situation remains stable due to proactive planning and close coordination among ministries.
Aurangzeb stated that the committee would continue its daily monitoring of international energy market developments, domestic stock positions, and supply chain dynamics. This approach aims to ensure timely and coordinated policy responses to the evolving regional circumstances. The committee’s ongoing assessments focus on national preparedness in response to these challenges.
