Karachi: Minister of State for Finance, Mr. Bilal Azhar Kayani, visited the Overseas Investors Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OICCI) in Karachi today, engaging with its leadership and members as part of the government’s ongoing consultations for the Federal Budget 2026-27. The meeting centered on discussions about the economic outlook, upcoming budget plans, and governmental efforts to enhance business activity, improve the investment climate, and expand the tax base.

According to Press Information Department, representatives of OICCI presented a series of proposals and recommendations that highlighted the perspective of foreign investors in Pakistan. The discussions touched upon tax policy, ease of doing business, and strategies to foster sustainable economic growth. The Minister of State expressed appreciation for the input from OICCI and reiterated the government’s dedication to an inclusive and consultative budget-making process.
