Islamabad: Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Tariq Fazal Chaudhry has distributed compensation cheques to the families of infants who perished in the recent PIMS tragedy. Each affected family received five million rupees as part of the government’s effort to support them during this difficult time.

According to Radio Pakistan, Minister Chaudhry emphasized in a statement on the platform X that the financial assistance provided cannot replace the profound loss experienced by the families. He described the compensation as a modest attempt by the government to stand in solidarity with those grieving.
