Islamabad: Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal has instructed relevant authorities to enhance price monitoring mechanisms and implement proactive measures aimed at improving market efficiency. The directive came during a meeting of the National Price Monitoring Committee held in the capital.
According to Radio Pakistan, Iqbal emphasized the importance of bridging the gap between wholesale and retail markets by refining supply chain systems and strengthening coordination with provincial and regional administrations. He underscored that effective market management and transparent monitoring mechanisms are crucial to ensuring that consumers benefit from improved supply conditions.
