Islamabad: Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal has called for a revolutionary adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to enhance Pakistan’s alignment with modern digital economies. During a meeting held today, he emphasized the critical role of AI in various sectors including health, education, and agriculture.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the draft of Pakistan’s AI National Plan has been prepared and is ready for review. Minister Iqbal urged that this draft be circulated among stakeholders, including overseas Pakistanis, for additional insights. He also noted China’s readiness to assist Pakistan in developing human resources in the field of AI, underscoring international cooperation in Pakistan’s technological advancement.
