Mastung: Federal Minister for Interior Mohsin Naqvi visited the family of the martyred Deputy Commissioner of Panjgur, Zakir Baloch, in Mastung, extending condolences and announcing financial assistance in recognition of his service and sacrifice.
According to Press Information Department, during the visit, Minister Naqvi met with Zakir Baloch’s father, Kanoor Baloch, and other grieving family members. Accompanied by Major General Bilal Sarfraz Khan of the Frontier Corps South Balochistan, Naqvi expressed profound sorrow over Baloch’s martyrdom and conveyed messages of condolence from President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif.
Minister Naqvi announced a financial package of Rs. 2 crores for the family and handed over an allotment letter for a plot, emphasizing that while no compensation could replace a lost life, the gesture was an effort to support the family of the martyr. He praised the family for their contributions to the nation and the virtues of Zakir Baloch, describing him as a dedicated, hardworking officer whose legacy will endure in the hearts of his countrymen.
The ceremony also saw the presence of high-ranking civil and military officials, including the Regional Police Officer of Gwadar and the Deputy Commissioner, all uniting to honor the late deputy commissioner’s memory and service.
