Islamabad, May 27, 2023 (PPI-OT): Minister for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb has felicitated the newly elected office bearers of CPNE. In a statement, she said journalism and freedom of expression are the essential constitutional requirements to strengthen democracy.

She said the role of CPNE for the stability of democracy and promotion of freedom of journalism is commendable. She said the coalition government not only fully believes in media freedom but is also taking steps to promote it. The Information Minister said the government always gave priority to the resolution of media related issues. She expressed the hope that newly elected office bearers will use their experience and skills to lead CPNE towards further improvement.
