ISLAMABAD: The Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Attaullah Tarar, has highlighted the completion of one year of Marka-e-Haq as a testament to Pakistan’s national resolve, unity, and strategic vision. Speaking at a seminar in Islamabad, he congratulated the nation on the occasion, emphasizing that the event underscored Pakistan’s narrative victory on the global stage.
According to Radio Pakistan, Tarar criticized India’s approach, describing its aggression as based on propaganda and fiction. He asserted that Pakistan’s response exposed India’s false claims and intentions. The Minister discussed India’s pattern of manipulating internal and external issues, particularly in the context of Jammu and Kashmir, noting that India portrays it as an internal matter to divert attention from domestic challenges.
Tarar accused India of conducting false flag operations and creating misleading narratives to hide its weaknesses, including state-backed assassination attempts and espionage activities. He reiterated Pakistan’s role as a key player in the global fight against terrorism, highlighting the sacrifices made by the country’s security forces.
Referring to recent security incidents, Tarar questioned India’s intentions, citing the swift registration of an FIR in Pahalgam as suspicious. He stated that Pakistan condemned the incident and offered an impartial investigation, which India ignored.
The Minister praised Pakistan’s unity during the situation, acknowledging the support of the younger generation and Gen-Z in countering hostile narratives through digital platforms. He also commended the Pakistani media for responsibly promoting the national narrative.
Tarar expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Field Marshal Asim Munir, and the civil and military leadership for their guidance during Marka-e-Haq. Minister for Climate Change and Environmental Coordination Musadik Malik also addressed the event, highlighting Pakistan’s success in defeating India’s narratives with facts and evidence, and congratulated the nation on the anniversary of Marka-e-Haq.
