Loralai Commissioner Calls for Enhanced Public Services and Strict Regulatory Measures

Loralai: Commissioner Loralai Division, Balach Aziz, emphasized the government’s dedication to improving public facilities and enforcing regulations to ease the burdens on citizens during a progress review meeting with Deputy Commissioners Kaleemullah Kakar and Waqar Khurshid Alam.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, Commissioner Aziz highlighted several discrepancies, such as the unchanged prices of bread despite the reduction in flour costs and the need for a decrease in transport fares following two reductions in petroleum prices. He urged a direct translation of these reductions into tangible benefits for the public.

Furthermore, Commissioner Aziz mandated collaborative actions with the Food Authority against vendors selling overpriced or hazardous items and stressed the importance of rigorous checks on milk supplies from Punjab. He also criticized the exorbitant pricing in hotels, which he described as exploitative.

Addressing safety concerns, especially frequent accidents in mines, he called for better preventive measures and stringent actions against negligent officers. Aziz also outlined the necessity for all officers to adhere to regulations regarding official vehicles and government residences.

Commissioner Aziz instructed all Deputy Commissioners to prepare and present a satisfactory progress report at the next meeting, ensuring that all directives are diligently followed to provide relief and enhance the safety of the populace.
