Islamabad, Minister for Law Azam Nazeer Tarar emphasized the shared values of harmony and peaceful coexistence between Islam and Sikhism during a seminar held today in Islamabad, focusing on the role of Sikhism in promoting global peace and prosperity.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the seminar served as a platform for discussing the mutual respect between religious communities in Pakistan, with a particular focus on the Sikh traditions. Minister Tarar highlighted the longstanding warm reception and respect for Sikh pilgrims in Pakistan, reflecting the country’s commitment to religious harmony. He also noted ongoing efforts by the Punjab government to improve the accessibility of Sikh religious sites for pilgrims.
