Lahore Corps Honors Military Excellence in Investiture Ceremony

Lahore, The Lahore Corps hosted its prestigious investiture ceremony today, where numerous military personnel were recognized for their service and valor. Corps Commander Lieutenant General Syed Aamer Raza HI (M) presided as the chief guest at the event, which saw the conferment of high military honors on deserving officers and soldiers.

According to Inter Services Public Relations, the ceremony was marked by the awarding of Sitara-i-Imtiaz (Military) to 25 officers and Tamgha-i-Imtiaz (Military) to 27 officers for their distinguished service. Additionally, 18 Shaheed (martyred) soldiers were posthumously awarded the Tamgha-i-Basalat, with their medals received by family members in a poignant acknowledgment of their sacrifices.

The event was attended by a large contingent of senior Army officers and the families of the awardees, underscoring the community’s deep respect and support for its military personnel.
