Kuwait Expresses Support for Pakistan’s Regional Peace Efforts During Eid Call


Kuwait City: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and the Crown Prince of Kuwait, Sheikh Sabah Al Khaled Al Hamad Al Mubarak Al Sabah, held a telephone conversation on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha, where they exchanged greetings and discussed ongoing peace efforts in the region.



According to Radio Pakistan, during the call, the Prime Minister conveyed his greetings to the Kuwaiti Amir, Sheikh Meshal Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, who reciprocated with warm regards to the Prime Minister. The conversation underscored Pakistan’s condemnation of recent attacks on Kuwait, expressing solidarity with its leadership. Prime Minister Sharif emphasized Pakistan’s commitment to restoring peace in the region and acknowledged the support of brotherly countries, including Kuwait.



The Crown Prince of Kuwait appreciated Pakistan’s significant role in regional peace initiatives and reiterated Kuwait’s full support. The Prime Minister also recognized the diplomatic efforts of Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir in advancing peace talks. The Crown Prince conveyed the Amir’s high regard for the Prime Minister and expressed a desire for Pakistan’s success in these efforts. An invitation was extended for the Kuwaiti leadership to visit Pakistan, while the Crown Prince expressed a willingness to welcome the Prime Minister to Kuwait.
