Korean Embassy Hosts 2026 K-WAVE Festa in Islamabad, Showcasing Cultural Exchange

ISLAMABAD: The Embassy of the Republic of Korea recently hosted the 2026 K-WAVE Festa in Islamabad, an event dedicated to celebrating Korean culture and creativity. The festival attracted a diverse audience, including students, influencers, and the general public, offering an array of activities and cultural experiences.

According to Radio Pakistan: The event featured cultural booths set up by various companies and organizations, providing attendees with a chance to engage with Korean traditions and innovations. The King Sejong Institute conducted a Korean Language and Culture Program, offering language sessions, traditional crafts, and the opportunity to experience wearing a Hanbok, a traditional Korean garment.

Participants were also engaged in K-pop activities, traditional games, and could explore food stalls and a K-Beauty Master Class. The festival concluded with the preliminary round of the K-POP Festival, where vocal and dance talents were showcased, highlighting the vibrant cultural expressions of Korea.

The K-WAVE Festa aimed to promote cultural exchange and strengthen the connections between the people of Pakistan and Korea, fostering mutual understanding and collaboration.
