Kahramanmaras, March 31, 2023 (PPI-OT): The Kashmiri delegates distributed relief items, including warm clothes and other essential items, among the earthquake victims of Kahramanmaras, Turkiye, at the center of the local Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO). Kahramanmaras is a city severely affected by the earthquake. More than 18,000 people died and thousands of lives and infrastructure were badly affected in the city.
International NGOs are continuing the rehabilitation activities with full enthusiasm. Sehri and Iftar are being organized for 50,000 people. The delegates, including Azad Jammu and Kashmir Jamaat-e-Islami leader Abdul Rashid Turabi and APHC-AJK leader Ejaz Rehmani, said the support of the Pakistani government and overseas Pakistanis, especially the anonymous Pakistani living in the United States, who donated thirty million dollars, is also appreciated everywhere.
They said their delegation is being appreciated and received enthusiastically everywhere and special prayers for the freedom of Kashmir were organised. The delegation assured the victims that just as the people of Turkiye have been helpers and supporters of Pakistan in every misery, the people of Kashmir and Pakistan are also praying for them and want to contribute in this hour of trial.
