Karachi, At a luncheon hosted by the Korangi Association of Trade and Industry (KATI) on May 16, Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tesori emphasized the need for teamwork and proactive measures to address longstanding issues faced by the business community in the region. The event brought together key industry leaders to discuss potential solutions and ways forward.
According to Sindh Governor House, Governor Tesori acknowledged the persistent challenges that have plagued local industries for years, noting that it was time for collective action to resolve these issues. He recalled the contributions of the late SM Munir Sahib, a significant figure in the community, underscoring the impact of dedicated leadership.
During his speech, Governor Tesori highlighted the importance of setting clear intentions to overcome difficulties, using the transformation seen in the Governor’s House as an example of what can be achieved with determination. He stressed that there are only two paths forward: to allow the status quo to persist or to decide on making necessary changes.
Governor Tesori also pointed out that his efforts often extended beyond his official capacities, aiming to provide maximum relief and support to the people of Sindh. He revealed plans to discuss pressing financial issues with the Finance Minister at the Governor’s House the following week, where he invited business leaders to present their concerns directly.
Furthermore, the Governor touched on specific actions taken under his administration, such as the distribution of 470,000 ration boxes to assist those in need, reflecting his commitment to continuing these efforts with confidence. On issues related to the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), he assured that direct dialogues would be initiated to address any grievances from the business sector.
This gathering at the KATI luncheon was a call to action for all stakeholders to identify problems clearly and work in unison towards sustainable solutions, ensuring that the voices of the business community are heard and acted upon effectively.
