LONDON: The High Commission of Pakistan in London recently hosted an Islamic Calligraphy Exhibition featuring the work of young Pakistani artist Ms. Ayesha Kamal. The event, organized in collaboration with ISP Events and the Forum for International Relations Development (FIRD), included an interactive session that highlighted the artist’s unique depiction of Quranic verses and her contributions to promoting Islamic culture abroad.
According to High Commission For Pakistan – United Kingdom, the exhibition was attended by a diverse group including British Parliamentarians, British-Pakistanis, media representatives, and officers of the High Commission. Acting High Commissioner, Mr. Haseeb bin Aziz, praised Ms. Kamal’s work and expressed gratitude to the Pakistani diaspora for supporting young artists. The interactive session, moderated by Mr. Faisal Shaukat, CEO of ISP Events, explored Ms. Kamal’s inspiration for her art and the significance of showcasing Islamic culture internationally. Ms. Kamal expressed her appreciation for the support from the Pakistan High Commission and attendees’ interest in her first exhibition in the United Kingdom.
