Islamabad Police Intensify Search Operations, Over 409 Individuals Checked


ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Police have intensified search and combing operations across the federal capital, resulting in the thorough checking of over 409 individuals as part of an effort to curb crime and target criminal elements. The operations, conducted under the directives of Inspector General of Police Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, also involved the inspection of 176 households, 26 hotels, 68 shops, 275 motorcycles, and 100 vehicles.



According to Islamabad Capital Police, these comprehensive operations were supervised by SSP Security Operations Islamabad Suleman Zaffar and monitored by respective zonal SPs. During the course of the operations, 11 individuals identified as suspicious, along with 27 motorcycles and five vehicles, were taken to local police stations for further verification. SSP Security Operations stated that the aim of these efforts is to tighten the noose around criminal elements and improve security throughout the city. The operations are part of ongoing initiatives by Islamabad Police to take indiscriminate action against criminals, land grabbers, and drug dealers.
