Islamabad Police Intensify Search Operations, Over 180 Individuals Checked


ISLAMABAD: Over 180 individuals were scrutinized during a citywide search operation in Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan, as part of an intensified effort to curb crime and target criminal elements. The operation was carried out under the special directives of Inspector General of Police Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi.



According to Islamabad Capital Police, the comprehensive search and combing operations took place under the supervision of SSP Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza, with respective zonal SPs monitoring the activities. As a result, 86 households, 18 hotels, 36 shops, 138 motorcycles, and 66 vehicles were meticulously checked. Seven individuals and 11 motorcycles, deemed suspicious, were taken to the police station for further verification.



SSP Operations emphasized that the operations aim to tighten security across the city and suppress criminal activity. These efforts are part of ongoing operations conducted in various parts of the district, targeting criminal elements, land grabbers, and drug dealers without discrimination.
