Islamabad Police Intensify Search Operations, 159 Individuals Checked

ISLAMABAD: Following directives from Inspector General of Police Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, the Islamabad Police have intensified search and combing operations across the city to curb crime and target criminal elements. The operations, supervised by SSP Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza and monitored by zonal SPs, led to the checking of 159 individuals, 85 households, eight shops, 90 motorcycles, and 27 vehicles.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, 26 suspicious individuals and 11 motorcycles were taken to police stations for further verification. Weapons and ammunition were recovered, resulting in the arrest of individuals possessing illegal firearms, including two pistols of various calibers.

SSP Operations Qazi Ali Raza stated that the purpose of these operations is to tighten the noose around criminal elements and enhance security throughout the city. The police continue their efforts against criminal elements, land grabbers, and drug dealers in various areas of the district.
