Islamabad Police Intensifies Search Operations with Over 200 Individuals Checked


ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Police have conducted extensive search and combing operations across the federal capital, resulting in the thorough checking of over 200 individuals. These operations, aimed at curbing crime and cracking down on criminal elements, were initiated under the directives of Inspector General of Police Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi.



According to Islamabad Capital Police, the operations were supervised by SSP Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza and monitored by zonal SPs. They encompassed checks on 100 households, 27 shops, three hotels, 89 motorcycles, and 33 vehicles. As a result of these efforts, nine suspicious individuals, 20 motorcycles, and two cars were shifted to police stations for further verification.



The operations also led to the arrest of individuals involved in the possession of illegal weapons, with police recovering two pistols of various calibers and ammunition. SSP Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza emphasized that the primary goal of these operations is to tighten control over criminal elements and enhance security across the city. The police are undertaking similar operations in different areas throughout the district, continuing their indiscriminate action against criminal elements, land grabbers, and drug dealers.
