ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Police has carried out extensive search and combing operations across the federal capital, leading to the inspection of over 466 individuals, as part of a broader effort to combat crime. The operations, directed by Inspector General of Police Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, aim to crack down on criminal activities in the city.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, the coordinated operations were executed under the guidance of SSP Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza and monitored by zonal SPs. The comprehensive searches included checks on 247 households, 35 hotels, 52 shops, 221 motorcycles, and 102 vehicles. As a result, 11 individuals and 23 motorcycles were taken to the police station for further verification.

SSP Operations Islamabad explained that the strategy behind these operations is to intensify the pressure on criminal elements and improve security measures throughout the city. The operations are being conducted in various areas district-wide, with a focus on tackling criminal elements, land grabbers, and drug dealers.
