ISLAMABAD: In a concerted effort to enhance security and suppress criminal activity, the Islamabad Police has conducted widespread search and combing operations across various areas of the federal capital. Over 270 individuals were checked as part of this initiative, which follows the special directives of Inspector General of Police Islamabad, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi.
According to Islamabad Capital Police, these extensive operations were executed under the supervision of SSP Operations Islamabad, Qazi Ali Raza, and were closely monitored by respective zonal SPs. The operations resulted in the thorough inspection of 99 households, 37 shops, six hotels, 144 motorcycles, and 30 vehicles. Furthermore, eight suspicious individuals and nine motorcycles were taken to police stations for additional verification.
SSP Operations Islamabad, Qazi Ali Raza, emphasized that the purpose of these operations is to tighten the grip on criminal elements and bolster security throughout the city. He reiterated that such operations are ongoing in various districts, with the Islamabad Police maintaining a strong stance against criminal elements, land grabbers, and drug dealers.
