ISLAMABAD: In a determined effort to curtail crime, the Islamabad Police conducted comprehensive search and combing operations throughout the federal capital, scrutinizing over 589 individuals. These operations were carried out following the directives of Inspector General of Police Islamabad, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, and aimed to crack down on criminal elements in the city.
According to Islamabad Capital Police, the operations were overseen by SSP Operations Islamabad, Qazi Ali Raza, with monitoring by zonal SPs. The search efforts extended to 345 households, 43 hotels, 106 shops, 252 motorcycles, and 168 vehicles. As a result, 14 suspicious individuals and 19 motorcycles were taken to the police station for further verification.
SSP Operations Islamabad emphasized the purpose of these operations is to reinforce security measures and suppress criminal activity throughout the district. The Islamabad Police remains committed to taking action against criminal elements, land grabbers, and drug dealers in various city areas.
