Islamabad Police Intensifies Citywide Search Operations, Checks Over 1,266 Individuals


Islamabad: The Islamabad Police have intensified their search and combing operations across the federal capital, checking over 1,266 individuals as part of efforts to curb crime and crackdown on criminal elements. The operations are a response to the directives of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, and were conducted under the supervision of SSP Operations Islamabad, Qazi Ali Raza.



According to Islamabad Capital Police, the operations were monitored by the respective zonal SPs and included the examination of 565 households, 77 shops, 18 hotels, 215 motorcycles, and 90 vehicles. As a result of these efforts, 80 suspicious individuals and 30 motorcycles were taken to police stations for further verification, with 13 criminals arrested during the process.



SSP Operations Islamabad stated that the aim of these search operations is to tighten the noose around criminal elements and enhance security throughout the city. The police have committed to conducting these operations in various areas across the district, maintaining indiscriminate action against criminal elements, including land grabbers and drug dealers.
