ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Police have intensified efforts to address citizens’ complaints and enhance service delivery, as part of a broader initiative to improve law enforcement and crime prevention in the capital. Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Islamabad, Ali Waseem, conducted an open court session at his office, where he engaged directly with the public to hear grievances and ordered prompt legal action on the applications received.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, these actions follow directives from Federal Minister for Interior Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi and Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Captain (Retd.) Muhammad Sohail Chaudhry. The initiative aims to ensure that citizens’ issues are resolved efficiently, with a focus on merit. DIG Waseem emphasized that citizens are encouraged to present their concerns without hesitation during open court sessions, while also having the option to register complaints via the IGP Complaint Cell 1715.

Simultaneously, SSP Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza led a meeting with senior police officials to assess the overall law and order situation and discuss strategies for crime prevention and enhanced patrolling. The meeting underscored the importance of maintaining a robust police presence and utilizing all available resources to safeguard citizens’ lives and property.

In an ongoing commitment, the Islamabad Police continue to focus on resolving citizens’ issues, curbing crime, and ensuring effective law enforcement across the city.
