Islamabad Police Focuses on Officer Welfare and Facility Improvements


ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Police have intensified efforts to improve officer welfare and address various issues promptly, according to a recent press release. Senior police officials have been actively reviewing and enhancing facilities while also focusing on resolving personal and departmental concerns of police officers.



According to Islamabad Capital Police, Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Law & Order and Training / DG Safe City Muhammad Atiq Tahir visited Shah Faisal Shaheed Mess Hall. During his visit, he assessed ongoing development projects, including renovation and repair work, and stressed the importance of quality and timely project completion. Additionally, DIG Tahir held an Orderly Room to address the concerns of police officers, providing directions for their resolution.



Furthermore, AIG Logistics Muhammad Usman Tariq Butt conducted a meeting with logistics officers to evaluate and ensure effective logistical support amid the current law and order situation in the federal capital. AIG Logistics also held an Orderly Room to listen to the issues of officers, directing senior officials to address these concerns promptly.



SP Headquarters Pari Gul Tareen also participated in the initiative by visiting Police Lines Headquarters. She assessed the rest area, gym, and other facilities available for police personnel, directing officers to further organize and enhance these amenities.



The Islamabad Police’s ongoing efforts underscore their commitment to officer welfare, effective issue resolution, and improved facilities.
