Islamabad: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Captain (Retd.) Muhammad Sohail Chaudhry conducted a visit to Sumbal Police Station to assess security arrangements, facilities for citizens, and service delivery protocols.
According to Islamabad Capital Police, the IGP met with officers and officials at the station, receiving a briefing on its performance and security matters. He emphasized the importance of timely service delivery, effective response, and improved facilities for the public, urging that citizen issues be resolved on a priority basis adhering to law and merit.
He highlighted that public trust is crucial for the police force, and officers should interact with citizens in a courteous and professional manner. The IGP also stated that every visitor to the police station should receive timely guidance and effective police services.
The IGP noted that Islamabad Police is committed to recognizing outstanding performance within its ranks. Officers demonstrating dedication, expertise, and hard work are being awarded appreciation certificates, which serve to motivate others toward greater professionalism and responsibility.
He reiterated that providing timely relief, ensuring quality service delivery, and effective policing are the foremost priorities of the Islamabad Police. The department will continue to recognize and promote public service efforts across its divisions.
