Islamabad Police Enhance Security Measures During Ramadan


ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Capital Police have ramped up security measures across the district during the holy month of Ramadan, with a focus on safeguarding religious sites and public safety. The initiative was spearheaded by Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Muhammad Jawad Tariq, who conducted a review of the security arrangements in various areas.



According to Islamabad Capital Police, DIG Tariq’s visit included meetings with police officers on duty, where he stressed the critical role of maintaining public safety. Officers and personnel stationed at security checkpoints were acknowledged for their service and commitment. Special security protocols have been implemented at mosques and imambargahs, reinforcing the ongoing efforts to protect citizens and their property. The police department has committed to utilizing all available resources to uphold law and order in the federal capital, ensuring the peace of the residents remains undisturbed.
