ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Police have intensified their search and combing operations across the federal capital, resulting in the thorough checking of over 211 individuals. These operations, conducted under the directives of Inspector General of Police Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, aim to curb crime and crack down on criminal activities.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, the operations were supervised by SSP Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza and monitored by zonal SPs. The efforts included checking 359 households, 76 shops, 23 hotels, 242 motorcycles, and 97 vehicles. Additionally, 17 individuals deemed suspicious, along with 431 motorcycles and three vehicles, were taken to the police station for further verification.

The operations also led to the arrest of individuals found in possession of illegal weapons, with two pistols of various calibers and ammunition being recovered. SSP Operations Qazi Ali Raza emphasized that these efforts are part of a broader strategy to tighten security and target criminal elements, land grabbers, and drug dealers throughout the district.
