Islamabad Police Conduct Extensive Search Operations, Check Over 567 Individuals


ISLAMABAD: Following special directives from Inspector General of Police Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, the Islamabad Police have intensified search and combing operations across various areas of the federal capital to address crime and target criminal elements. These operations resulted in the thorough checking of over 567 individuals, as well as multiple households, shops, motorcycles, and vehicles.



According to Islamabad Capital Police, these comprehensive operations were conducted under the supervision of SSP Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza and monitored by the respective zonal SPs. The search efforts led to the checking of 202 households, 20 shops, 223 motorcycles, and 75 vehicles. Additionally, four suspicious individuals and 58 motorcycles were taken to the police station for further verification. Arrests were made in connection with illegal weapons possession, with two pistols and ammunition being recovered.



SSP Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza emphasized that the goal of these operations is to tighten the noose around criminal elements and enhance security throughout the city. The police continue to take decisive action against criminal elements, including land grabbers and drug dealers.
