Islamabad Police Conduct Extensive Search Operations, 701 Individuals Checked

ISLAMABAD: In an effort to enhance security and curb criminal activities, the Islamabad Police have launched extensive search operations across the city, resulting in the checking of 701 individuals. The operations, conducted under the directives of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, aim to ensure the safety and security of the federal capital.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, the search and combing operations were executed in various police station jurisdictions under the supervision of zonal Superintendent of Police (SPs). The operations included thorough checks of 262 houses, 83 shops, 48 hotels, 251 motorcycles, and 117 vehicles. As a result, 27 suspicious individuals and 23 motorcycles were taken to police stations for further legal proceedings.

Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza highlighted that the primary goal of these operations is to fortify the security measures against criminal elements within the city. He reiterated the commitment of the Islamabad Police to continue their actions against criminals, land grabbers, and drug traffickers. SSP Raza also called on citizens to assist the police by reporting any suspicious activities to nearby police stations or through the emergency helpline “Pucar-15”.
