ISLAMABAD: Following directives from Inspector General of Police Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, the Islamabad Police have launched an extensive series of search and combing operations across various regions of the capital to address crime and apprehend criminal elements.
According to Islamabad Capital Police, the operations were overseen by SSP Operations Islamabad, Qazi Ali Raza, and monitored by zonal SPs. The police checked 101 individuals, 67 households, seven shops, 75 motorcycles, and 17 vehicles. Additionally, 12 motorcycles were taken to the police station for further verification.
SSP Operations Qazi Ali Raza stated that the operations aim to tighten the noose around criminal elements and enhance security throughout Islamabad. The ongoing efforts are intended to prevent crime and maintain law and order, with actions being taken against criminal elements, land grabbers, and drug dealers to ensure the safety and security of citizens.
