ISLAMABAD: In a recent educational initiative, student volunteers from the Capital University of Science and Technology (CUST) visited the Security Division of Islamabad Police. The visit, organized under the Friends of Police Program, aimed to give the students an insight into the operational procedures and roles of the police force, particularly within high-security zones.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, the visit was conducted following the directives of Inspector General of Police Islamabad, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi. The students were welcomed by police officers who provided a comprehensive briefing on the workings of the Security Division. The delegation explored various facilities, including the CCTV control room, police mess, and stables, as well as the diplomatic enclave.

The visit was designed to educate the students on the importance of security measures implemented by the police to protect the diplomatic enclave, prominent buildings, and the overall safety of citizens. The delegation expressed their appreciation for the efforts and strategies employed by the Islamabad Police to maintain security in the region.

During the visit, DIG Security Islamabad Rana Umar Farooq addressed the students, emphasizing their role as the future of the country and as ambassadors of the police force. He highlighted the significance of youth participation in educational activities, noting its impact on both personal growth and national progress.
