Islamabad: In a recent operation, the Islamabad Police have arrested ten individuals allegedly involved in cattle theft and illegal possession of weapons. The arrests were carried out by teams from Bani Gala, Kohsar, Sihala, and Shehzad Town police stations.
According to Islamabad Capital Police, five of the arrested individuals were directly linked to cattle theft and were found in possession of stolen cattle, a vehicle used in the crime, and weapons with ammunition. Legal cases have been filed against them, and investigations are ongoing. Additionally, as part of a targeted campaign to apprehend proclaimed offenders and absconders, police teams managed to arrest five other criminals.
Under the directive of Inspector General of Police Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, the force is intensifying efforts to combat crime and maintain order in the federal capital. SSP Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza emphasized the police’s resolve to safeguard citizens and their property, assuring that no disruptions to public peace will be tolerated.
The public is encouraged to report any suspicious activities to their local police stations or via the emergency helpline “Pucar-15,” fostering cooperation between the police and the community to eliminate crime.
