ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Police have successfully arrested two wanted members of criminal gangs involved in bike lifting and snatching activities, recovering valuables in the process.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, the Koral police team utilized both technical and human resources to apprehend the suspects. The operation led to the recovery of four stolen motorbikes, mobile phones, and cash. Cases have been registered against the arrested individuals, and further investigation is ongoing.

DIG Islamabad Muhammad Jawad Tariq stated that stringent measures are being implemented against individuals involved in motorcycle theft and street robbery in the city, resulting in a decline in such incidents. He urged police officers to continue their crackdown on criminal activities and ensure that offenders face justice. He also called on citizens to cooperate with law enforcement by reporting suspicious activities to the nearest police station or the emergency helpline “Pucar-15.”
