Islamabad Police Arrest Four Members of Notorious Bike Lifter Gang; Seven Stolen Bikes Recovered


Islamabad: In a significant operation, the Islamabad Police Anti Motorcycle Lifting Unit (AMLU) has successfully arrested four individuals from a well-known bike lifter gang, recovering seven stolen motorbikes in the process. The accused, identified as Sajid, Shair Ahmed, Hamza, and Shehzad, were apprehended following numerous bike lifting incidents in the city.



According to Islamabad Capital Police, the arrests are part of ongoing efforts to combat criminal activities related to vehicle theft. Cases have been registered against the suspects, and further investigations are underway to determine the extent of their operations and potential connections to other criminal activities.



SSP Security Operations Islamabad, Suleman Zaffar, emphasized the importance of a comprehensive crackdown on criminal activities, instructing officers to take all necessary measures to safeguard citizens’ life and property. He assured that criminal elements would not be allowed to disrupt the city’s peace and urged residents to report suspicious activities through the “Pucar-15” emergency helpline.
