Islamabad: Deputy Inspector General of Police Islamabad Muhammad Jawad Tariq inspected various duty points throughout the capital, conducting a comprehensive review of security protocols and procedures.
According to Islamabad Capital Police, the visit included meetings with officers and officials stationed at different locations. During these meetings, DIG Tariq emphasized the importance of performing duties with responsibility and vigilance. He instructed officers to conduct thorough checks of suspicious vehicles, motorcycles, and individuals, enforce all security standard operating procedures, and react promptly to any suspicious activity.
DIG Tariq also directed officers to maintain a high level of alertness and to execute their responsibilities with dedication and professionalism. He stressed the need for readiness to respond to emergencies and called for enhanced security measures. Additionally, he highlighted the importance of treating citizens with courtesy and respect, balancing public convenience with security needs, and ensuring the public’s confidence and safety.
