Islamabad: An unprecedented international festival titled “Rahmatul lil Aalameen WA Khatamun Nabiyyin” will take place from September 20 to September 22, 2024, in Islamabad, announced Mr. Moiuddin Wani, Secretary of the Federal Education and Professional Training (FEPT). This historic event, aimed at fostering unity and understanding among the youth, marks the first of its kind in the nation’s history.
According to Press Information Department, Mr. Moiuddin Wani has outlined that the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training will coordinate the festival activities under his guidance. The National Rahmatul lil Aalameen WA Khatamun Nabiyyin Authority (NRKNA) will play a pivotal role, with its Chairman, Mr. Khursheed Ahmed Nadeem, overseeing the proceedings. Senior Joint Secretary FEPT Mr. Junaid Akhlaq, and Deputy Secretary FEPT Mr. Niazi Hameed, who manages NRKNA affairs at the ministry level, are also involved in the preparations.
The festival is expected to attract over one million young attendees, drawn by various activities designed to engage and inspire. Mr. Wani emphasized the festival’s potential to positively impact societal cohesion and reduce polarization among young people. A comprehensive schedule includes a two-day conference featuring 200 eminent scholars, a three-day book fair offering substantial discounts, a Seerat youth convention, and exhibitions on calligraphy, as well as student workshops and a Natia Mushraha.
Mr. Wani, describing the festival’s broad scope and significance, extended an invitation to the public to participate in what he promised would be a transformative event for Pakistan’s society, particularly its youth.
