Islamabad Hosts Key International Non-Proliferation Conference


Islamabad: The capital recently served as the venue for the “Islamabad Non-Proliferation Conference 2024,” a two-day event organized by the Strategic Vision Institute Islamabad. The conference, featuring prominent global and Pakistani figures, focused on enhancing dialogue on strategic stability and non-proliferation.



According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the event was aimed at fostering constructive dialogue on global strategic issues and sharing Pakistan’s policy perspectives on non-proliferation. General Sahir Shamshad Mirza, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, attended as the Chief Guest, underscoring the high-level engagement and Pakistan’s commitment to global non-proliferation efforts.



The conference highlighted keynote addresses from former Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Zubair Mehmood Hayat, advisors of the National Command Authority, and other significant figures. It drew a diverse group of international scholars from prestigious institutions across the world, reflecting its broad scope and the importance of strategic dialogue in maintaining regional and international security.
