Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar reached out to the newly appointed Commonwealth Secretary General, Rt Hon Shirley Botchwey, in a recent telephonic conversation.

During the call, Senator Dar extended his congratulations to Botchwey on her new role and expressed best wishes on behalf of Pakistan. This gesture underscores the continuing relationship between Pakistan and the Commonwealth.

In the course of their conversation, Senator Dar invited Botchwey to visit Pakistan at her earliest convenience, indicating a desire to strengthen ties and cooperation between the Commonwealth and Pakistan.
