Mastung: Three personnel of the Balochistan Constabulary were killed and fourteen others injured in a bomb blast targeting a vehicle in the Shamsabad area of Mastung district on Monday morning, according to officials.
The injured have been transported to Civil Hospital Quetta for medical treatment, as confirmed by a government spokesperson.
President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif issued statements condemning the attack, expressing their grief over the loss of life. They extended prayers for the deceased and wished a swift recovery for the injured.
President Zardari reiterated the government’s commitment to eradicating terrorism in the country.
Prime Minister Sharif emphasized that the government’s resolve against terrorism remains firm and vowed to continue efforts until all threats are eliminated. He directed authorities to ensure that the injured receive prompt medical care.
Chief Minister of Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Bugti, also condemned the attack, pledging that those responsible would be pursued with rigorous measures.
