ISLAMABAD: Iranian President Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian was formally welcomed at the Prime Minister’s House in Islamabad, where he was received by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. The arrival ceremony featured a guard of honour presented by a contingent of the armed forces.
According to Radio Pakistan, the event included introductions between the Iranian President and the Pakistani Prime Minister’s cabinet. Dr. Pezeshkian, in turn, presented members of his delegation to Prime Minister Sharif. As part of the visit, Dr. Pezeshkian also participated in a tree-planting ceremony at the Prime Minister’s House.
